Eleanor Roosevelt High School is one of five comprehensive high schools in the Corona-Norco Unified School
District. ERHS is committed to creating a dynamic, innovative learning environment that meets the needs of our
diverse student body, guiding students toward excellence in college and career readiness, while challenging
them to be responsible citizens. In support of our mission, the ERHS Bands and Color Guard program provides
students with the opportunity to experience excellent music and performing arts education. Through this
experience, our students learn many positive attributes, such as responsibility, accountability, building self-
confidence and self-esteem, in addition to the skills to master their instruments and equipment.
Our program has the honor of supporting over 200 students with a goal of returning to our pre-pandemic
participation of over 300 students. Our goal is to recapture the program growth previously experienced and to
continue providing our students with a high-quality music education and performing arts program. The genre of
classes we offer is starting to grow with five concert band classes including: Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Winds,
Symphonic Band, and two Cadet Bands. We also support after school programs to include marching band,
winter color guard, three jazz classes and a percussion ensemble.
